Reed, Farm Show Magazine has done at least one story (maybe more) on homes built from grain bins. They have inexpensive downloadable copies of all their articles online, just tell your buddy to Google "Farm Show grain bin house". I believe I still have the original article, would have to look for it though but if interested let me know.

You can buy containers for $9.37 sq ft used to $16.87 new, or there abouts.

Boy what a nice job. install radiant heat and place the walls when and where you want. How wide are the containers 10 FT? I assume those are 40 ft long. I think Eddie did something similar to this for living space. Boy
to be able to create like that and reuse and make do is a great talent to have and to be admired!

Sometimes what a good old country boy can do, still amazes me and I would stack it agains an high educated architect or engineer work any day of the week.

If you can buy containers used containers for $9.37 that means you can get 800 sq delivered with no building costs for $7,498. These things would make a great garage to, 20 foot wide and 40 feet long could be 4 car garage easy.
I have seen them as storage units also.

But very nice.
