I was cleaning the seeder today and noticed the guard protecting the gears held water. So I took it off and drilled two holes so the water would drain from the guard. Poor design I thought.

I can not get grease to the fitting without removing the guard. My grease gun nozzle is just a little too big.

So I added a washer on either side and the grease gun fits perfect. Just a little fine tuning.

I store mine upside down and that seems to let all the water drain.
