It's an interesting bit of history to note that while modern Ford (nee NH) tractors are blue in color (MSU) the tractors that made Ford famous were colored the red and gray of OSU.

Why were the early Ns red and gray? I know the original 9Ns were gray, but 8Ns and several of the models following them are supposed to be red and gray.

I beleive when Harry Ferguson had his "falling-out" with Ford, they changed the paint scheme so the Fords would look different from Fergusons. Fergusons kept the dark steel gray and Ford went to the almost creme-colored gray (called Ford Medium Gray) with the "red tiger" engine and running gear. The change occurred exactly at the time of the Ford-Ferguson split.

Oh well, Ohio State won anyways.

I just brought it up because of "The Game", which was viewed as something almost equivalent to the second coming around here. Some tickets changed hands for $2000 each.

I am not a "fan" of either team, but if I had the means I would have paid that much to be there. As always, I as rooting for the underdog...
