Helping out an orange neighbor

I've had a 10,000 lb tractor stuck in a manure pile. Not fun. The more you thrash the deeper you go!

sounds like "quickmanure" (quicksand like)

For some reason I keep thinking Biff in Back To The Future.

My dad and I have ribbed each other over trucks for decades. He's a Chevy man and I've owned nothing but Fords. One day I was cutting across a sloppy field in my F-250 when one of the front auto-lockers failed. Dad pulled me out with his Chevy. I have NEVER lived that moment down. I installed manual hub lockers the next week. That ain't gonna happen to me again!!!.

Gee that is truly a funny story, and being a person who grew up Chevy (but never actually owned one - all the relatives did though), it brought a smile to my face.:)

That reminds me of the time that one of my "sissy" buddies called me asking for help. Seems he got his shiney new Range Rover stuck in a mud hole on our hunting property. I had to take down my beat up '78 Toyota Land Cruiser and winch him out. Then to add insult to injury he lost his fancy Rolex in the mud and had to go searching for it. We were laughing pretty hard by that point, watching him in hip deep mud feeling for his watch! Being the friend that I am, I remind him of it often!!

Well...he doesn't actually know:) He had to run an errand and we pulled his tractor out while he was gone.

Those orange guys are pretty smart ya know...An "errand" huh? I bet he was at DQ while you slogged that B1550 out of the poo.

Did sitting in the poo pile improve its smell?

Did he find the watch?
