I HAVE A MASSEY FERGUSON 165 TRACTOR AND A JOHNDEERE BUSHHOG 6 FT. WILL THEY HOOK UP

I get a funny, more than PG rated image in my head from the wording of your question.

Both should be 540 pto, so that should work?

Are both cat 1 3pt hitch, or are both cat 2 3pt hitch? Then they should hook right up.

If you got one of each cat 1/2 hitches, still should most often work out, just need to be careful of pto shaft length, too long and you bust something, too short and it falls apart or damages the ends of the middle of the shaft.

As rambler stated they should work. 3 point hitch implements are fairly standardized across the market.
