Kubota L2500DT 4X4
Hello all again.
I have posted a couple threads about mounts for a FEL for my L2500DT that I have.
The post are where about a kubota la350 loader with no luck.
So Im going to post a different way and see if I get a response?

I got a LA350 Loader for real good price and would like to mount onto mt
L2500DT.
Problem is The guy I bought the loader from didn't have the sub frame.
I have found few good pics on the web showing about where the loader sub frame is bolted to a L2500DT but not one pic that is good enough.
Is there anyone out there that has a L2500DT with FEL that could take some good pics of sub frame and where it bolts up to.
I also need thickness of steel plate and C channel for under cross mount.

I have tried to ask friend that works parts counter at Kubota but he is not liking the idea of letting me go out into the lot and measure one

Ok Thanks for all the help.
Cal

Hi Cal. Don't know if this helps, but here are a couple of thoughts.

First, those tractors and loaders were sold 15-20 years ago, so the chances are pretty slim that you could just go to a dealer lot and find one sitting around so you could take measurements.

Next, the Kubota website indicates the correct loaders for an L2500DT were LB400, LB400-A or LB450S. I didn't see any LA350, although there is an LA300 and a BF350 loader, both of which are for the smaller "B" series tractors. So you may have a mismatch between the tractor and the loader.

If it's actually one of the correct loaders, you might be able to order the subframe parts directly from Kubota. If it's the wrong loader for that tractor, you still might be able to make it work, although I think it would be difficult. The main thing is the "L" series tractors are larger than the "B" series, and the frame may be a different width so the subframe brackets and the FEL mounts won't have clearance.

The other option is finding salvage parts such as a FEL subframe assembly. Here's one salvage place:
Kubota Tractor Parts: Engine Parts || Weaver's Compact Tractor Parts & Compact Tractor Salvage
No doubt there are others also.

Good luck.

thanks for the reply,

I was planning on fabricating my own sub frame and really need to know what thickness and width all the steel is.
I can't find anything on the web that gives me thickness & widths of steel used on a sub frame for either tractor.

I have measured loader and tractor to make sure I can make it fit. All i need to do is move sub frame ahead 3 inches to front of tractor to make it work with plenty of clearance to clear grill of my L2500DT.

Thanks Again

Don't know if it helps, but here are some photos of my tractor showing the FEL subframe. Don't have really good detail photos, but maybe it will give you something to go by.

The tractor/FEL setup is larger and heavier than your L2500, so you may not need to use exactly the same materials. The subframe is mostly 1/2" and 3/8" plate. All the attachment points to the tractor are 1/2" material.

Do not know if this will help but http://www.mytractorforum.com/images/reference/L2500D.pdf

This the parts list for your tractor might have loader point . I have the same tractor as you have but I,am 4 hrs away from it or I would get pics for you. Think channel across bottom is 8 inch and it bolts on below clutchand in front of rad on the sides. My shop manual was available last year maybe the loader manual is as well.
