Help with spreading rear tires CK30

Have a 2014 CK30 with ind. tires on it and have been in looking to stabilizing the tractor. Manual gives a procedure to adjust tires and spread them out but a call to dealer leads me to believe this isn't possible. Only way to find out is to remove tires which isn't easy to do by myself. Wondering if anyone with a CK30/35 with R4/Ind tires has ever attempted to spread out tires or knows whether of not it's possible?

On my 2012 CK35 with industrial tires, the measurement from the outer tire bulge to the face of the mounting plate is 10 1/4" and on the inside it measures 5 1/4" .
The wheels cannot be rotated. You could add a wheel spacer to gain a wider stance or load your rear tires to lower the center of gravity.

I'll have to measure mine to see if it's the same. Have you ever tried to adjust the wheels to expand the wheel base? There's a procedure in the manual to remove tires and adjust something to spread the wheels further apart for further stability, but my dealer said it wasn't likely possibly with R4/ind tires.

The manual info is for adjusting the R1 tires that have a different Rim setup that is adjustable. The R4 rims are not adjustable without adding spacers. Also I believe the outside of the R4 tires are about as wide as the R1 tires on the widest setting.

That's what I wanted to know, thanks! Manual wasn't specific on what type of wheel/tire it was referring to, unless I missed it (entirely possible).

Yep you will need wheel spacers. There are several good brands out there - do a search using your bolt pattern.

However - have you filled your rear tires. If you do you will notice a big difference in stability and not need to go with the wheel spacers. Your R4's sit wider than R1's offset using the wheel rim..

I'm looking into DIY filling with RV antifreeze. I'll try that, first. I've done wheel spacers on road vehicles with aftermarket wheels and didn't like them, not sure if that's the same on tractors, though.
