I recently purchased a new-to-me front mounted snow blower for my L3130 and I am just starting the process of uncrating and reassembling the blower assembly.
1. Can someone provide instructions on how the L2180 quick hitch connects to the tractor? I have never seen one attached to a tractor and therefore have no any idea how it connects. Plus it is cold outside and the quick hitch is heavy, so I want to minimize my time laying in the snow.
2. The new version of the quick hitch is L2180-1 and there is a kit available to turn an L2180 into L2180-1. During my preliminary investigation the dealer was unable to get any info on this kit other than price and weight. Does anyone know what is in L2188 Upgrade Support Frame Kit? 2B) Is it needed?
I am certain I will have more questions as I go, but the dealer was kind enough to supply instructions for the mid pto and snow blower assembly.
