Help with electrical connection for 12 v winch

/ Help with electrical connection for 12 v winch #21
The switch arrangement Kenny D suggested plus the small size Anderson (SB-50) connector is what works great for me.

I used # 10 wire and 35 amp fuse without any problems.
Also I do brush off snow after usage so that it does not freeze up the works.

For a while I greased the shute contact areas to render less friction until I decided to make up a large washer like ring to seperate the shute base from the blower body.

I used the plastic sheets that they sell for kids to slide on the snow with.
Really helps as ice will not adhere to the plastic surface.

Have run my blower for years that way.

That's what is so great about these forums. Lots of good ideas.

And in Quebec you do get lots of snow, so you would know.

Excellent idea and I think I have an old one of those slides in the barn. Tomorrow's project.

Got the connectors at NAPA today.

You're right SpudHauler - this is what makes this forum great!!
