Guys had my mind made up on a TC33DA with FEL and MMM. Took the wife to see it, but on the back home she said lets look at the orange ones. The man showed us the L3010, wife said to big, but then he comes riding up on a B2910 and lets her drive it. I thought that was dirty pool.

Any way he said it will do all the TC33DA will do and is less expenise. Help me explain to her about orange.

Thanks

What's to explain? Sounds as if she's already got it all figured out. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Let's put is this way, I went to rent a Befco Green-rite overseeder (900+lb PTO driven implement) from my local Kubota dealer, but he wasn't willing to let me rent it, since my tractor wasn't big enough. I asked him how he knew my tractor wasn't big enough? He said that he remembered that I bought a B2910 from them. I only shopped for a B2910 with them, but I never bought one. I told him that he had me mixed up with someone else, since I had a NH TC33. He said he wasn't familiar with the NH's, so he asked his manager if the NH 33 was big enough the the overseeder. The manager said it would handle it with no problems. Enough said. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I guess I would look at it this way. Orange or no tractor, I would take orange. Orange or Blue, I would take blue. But that is because I felt most comfortable with blue and it's dealer. If you like the dealer of the blue and not the orange then you have to go blue and you have to tell your wife most guys here make their decision by dealer. If your doing most of the driving then you have to tell her you just like the blue so much better. If she is doing most of the driviing then get orange. Now there is Henro's option, get one of each and you both will live happily. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Maybe there is one of them red dealers around that has the 33DX just like your blue one, she might like that.

You see a dilemma, I see an angle to wind up with TWO tractors. Does she like green also? Then you could pull off the ole' hat trick! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

BillyP . . . that was just darn mean. Realistic, but mean.

I have orange and blue. I favor blue. But if it was what the wife said or nothing, I would take what the wife said! Some battles just aren't worth fighting.

Decide which dealer works best for you and go with your gut instinct.
And if that doesn't work, negotiate. Tell her the orange looks best with a BH on the back. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If your wife is counting pennies, the really big issue may be that the B2910 costs less. If that's true, you may have a tough time convincing her since you aren't going to get a bargain on a brand new TC33DA yet.
