Help us choose a dog

I got a new pup last week. He is 2 1/2 months old and weighs 24 lbs. He's half Anatolian and half Akbash. Should be around 150 lbs. when grown.

My better half is set on an Anatolian for her next dog. She read somewhere that they are good with chickens.

My Anatolian/Great Pyrenees can be in the coop all day and never hurt a bird, but all the other LDG are just about as reliable around poultry, but will chase crows and Canada geese. Key is to train young and to know they are mental puppies until 3 years old give or take. Last started acting like adults at 2.5 and 3.5 respectively.

I should add that there is always a glut of ~18 month old LDGs for sale because of killing chickens, if they get away with it young it is VERY difficult to correct.
