Yo da man! I'll remember this next spring. I used a 2 foot screwdriver and did the deed in a few minutes after 2-3 failed attempts. Again, you da man!

Leave the belt off the spindle on the right side. Put the spring on (easy when there's no tension). THEN put the belt over the spindle.
