Help! Sabre mower won't start

I have a Sabre (S1642) by JD that won't start. I have tried everything I know of. I have tried jumping it and have had the battery tested twice, both show good. I have also replaced the ignition switch, no difference. I have gotten the starter to spin w/ jumpers from my truck, and the mower battery. I am assuming it must be one of the wonderful safety switches somewhere, but I am not sure. I know the one under the seat, but if it's in park it shouldn't matter. I also know there's one tied to brake, but I don't know exactly where it is, or how to bypass it to test. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

I appreciate any help you can give.

New development:

I realized that the new ignition is throwing the 15 amp. fuse. I can replace the fuse, put the old switch in and the fuse is fine. I guess universal switch from TSC isn't really universal.

I still have no clue though.

Found your mower on the JD parts website. Looks like you have quite a few safety switches: clutch, blade, seat, brake pto, RIO (Reverse Implement Option), etc. From your description, the starter and electricals for ignition won't energize. Make sure brake is on, mower pto is off, you butt is on the seat, gear selector in neutral, all the traditional safety switch catch points. You may be able to bypass them by disconnecting them, i.e. pulling the connector will enable the circuit. Check out the electricals at the parts lookup site for the S1642 model you identified.

Thank you for the information. Do you have the link to the electrical schematics? I am unable to find one. Also, am I reading correctly that simply unhooking the switches will bypass them? I thought you would have to jump/short them.

One last question, the manual mentions that the starter solenoid might also be a problem. Is this just the block that the wires from the switch run directly into (located under the seat)? If so, is there any way to easily test it?
