ih 706
I have a IH 706 with near perfect body , with a Miller M-12 Loader manufactured in Iowa in excellant condition . The motor is froze up and it appears water got into the pistons . I do not want to pursue a rebuild, what do you guys think i should ask for it ? Thanks !

Spray the sparkplugs with a good quality rust lubricant like WD49, Kroil, PC Blaster every day for a week. Crack loose sparkplugs, remove them and fill each cylinder with bulkWD40, Kroil, etc. Keep topped off and allow to sit for possibly weeks, checking on each cylinder fill. Try after a few weeks and see if the engine will turn over. If it turns over then drain engine oil and refill with new oil for first attempt of starting. Clean out fuel lines, fuel tank and refill with fresh gas. You can then begin to try and start engine. Piston rings may free up after running for a while. Be sure ignition system is in good working order.

I like to look at tractorhouse and see what is on the market. A lot depends on your location.
Below is a gas 706 not running with no loader for 3500
Here is one that sold at auction for $2100 gas engine not running with loader

I would list it at $3,500 and be willing to drop it to $2,500. Gas engine and not running are a double detriment.
