Help Please with JD 318 not starting

I inherited a JD 318 with the onan engine removed and a Honda engine installed.
So technically I own a HonDeere

Yesterday I was mowing the lawn and leaned over to duck out of the way of a branch and the tractor stalled and will not start

If I turn the key nothing happens (no sounds no clicking and no dash lights)

I am guessing it is a safety switch but not sure if I am correct and I am not sure how to test them.
Also maybe a fuse but I cannot find where the fuses are.

Any help would be appreciated on helping me fix this would be great. I have half a lawn mowed and half a jungle starting.

There is usually some form of safety switch (operator presence detector) some where on the seat.
If you can find it, try connecting the two wires together and see if the tractor will respond.
If there is an electric clutch to engage the mower, the wiring in that switch will shut things down like no starting if that switch is on.
If the tractor stalled thinking you fell out of the seat and then you did not disengage the mower the engine would not turn over.
do you have an owner's manual with a wiring ddiagram which you could post if these suggestions do not work.

there is a safety switch and I tired to stick a wire in the hole and around the post but it still would not start.

Also there was an inline fuse 2 am that was blow so I put in a new one., (not sure what this fuse was for but it was on a red wire behind the "dash"

I still have no lights and no power so I am not sure what else to do besides cutting off the seat switch and wiring the 2 wires together to see if that fixes the problem.

would a bad seat switch kill all the power to the tractor?
if the electric switch for the mower is somehow still on would this also kill the power?

I wish I know more about these for repair.

I don't have a manual but I can ask my inlaws if they still have one.
