Help Please! W/ my John deer 770

OK so started my tractor (John deer 770), sounded a bit lazy due to a week battery. Warmed up fine like usual, went down the driveway to pull out some down branches drove fine. Put it in neutral, jumped off to attach chain and no more that 3 to 4 seconds after jumping off, it stalled. No longer wants to start. when I turn the key I hear it click up front, pretty strong like usual but no turn over. I did replace a 15amp fuse that was out but still, NO START... what gives, anyone?

Safety switch - if hydro, then a petal isn't centered. Else look at seat switch.

How old is the battery. Could have a dead cell. Dirty connection.

check ground where it mounts to tractor, save aggravation and go ahead and get that battery, winter isn't close to over!
