Help!! Kubota BX 25D front mounted blower

I have a 2013 or 2014 Kubota BX 25D with a front mounted snow blower. I called a friend who has one and he said it should have come with skids. We are getting three feet of snow and dealer is jammed. Is there skids on the front mounted snow blower?

Mine has 2 skids. there should be some holes towards the bottom back of the snowblower where they mount. They look like angle iron "L" and the manual has instructions for how to adjust them. I used my blower on my 1870 on Saturday and now I spend more time cleaning off the cars than I do moving snow. Good luck.

If you don't get the skids installed before the storm, don't worry too much. In float mode, the snowblower will just ride on the metal wear edge. Ran like that four 4+ years on asphalt driveway before needing to replace the wear edge. Now I have the skids properly adjusted down to prevent the wear edge from dragging so now the skids will wear. Now it's time to add a couple pieces of UHMW poly to the skids to prevent them from wearing too.

Got home from work with all the stuff to MacGyver it and they are on it. They are on the back of the blower. I figured the sides. Ben at Marshalls was actually very polite when I told him I was a dumbass.

That's good. When I took my blower off of the pallet they almost fell off so good thing you didn't lose 'em. Have fun testing it out tomorrow. My BX 1870 did decent on Saturday, I had to slow down at times but I can't complain.
