Hi, I'm currently looking at a JD 950 to possibly purchase. It will be used on several acres "mainly" for brush hogging, and maybe some snow removal in winter.
It's 28 HP diesel, 2WD, looks used but decent, decent tires, and has what looks to be a factory loader.

1. What Yrs. were these tractors made ?
2. What would be a fair (ballpark) price ?
3. What size brush hog will a 28 HP handle ?
4. What should I look for mechanically (if anything in particular) when looking it over ?
5. Did the 950's have any quirks or bad points ?
6. Are parts still easily available for 950's
Any and all info would be greatly appreciated !
