Help identify old High wheel mower.

I recently got an old high wheel mower but do not know who it was built by. I know that it is not a Yazoo, Roof, or sarlo, troybuilt or any others that I am familair with. It is red an has 16 in. tall bicycle spoked wheels with hard tires. Upper part of handlebars appear to have been chromed. It has a commom 3.5 hp Briggs eng but has 2 shafts coming out bottom of engine.Crank pulley runs blade belt, other shaft pulley runs sp drive. It is unique because self propell is located down low behind rear tires unlike yazoo and most others being in front of the tires. I have seen some mowers somewhere called Lazy Boy built in Kansas City and am wondering if this is what mine is. If anyone can help identify please respond, am very interested in finding out the make of it. Thanks.

Your mower, from the description, reminds me a lot of the Western Auto Wizard SP walk-behind mower that my dad bought around 1980 or so. It had an engaging, belt-driven blade and had the dual cog/sprocket drive wheels low and behind the rear wheels. The handle was chromed, you engaged the blade via a lever mounted on the handle bridge, and you engaged the drive wheels via a squeeze handle on one of the two handles. Ours had a 5hp engine though.



Western Auto sourced their tools, under their in-house "Wizard" brand, from a number of companies. MTD I believe for some....AYP (American Yard Products) for others....etc.
