Help! Need pinion gear... Do I have a Ford 1210? or 1100? Photos attached

I have a Ford 4x4 compact tractor with the 1210 decal on the hood, but it only has two cylinders...? Also, on the engine block is stamped LEH 822. I have searched everywhere for a Shibaura LEH 822 engine spec. I think I have a different Ford model than a 1210 because of the engine. Does anyone know what Ford tractors had a Shibaura LEH 822 engine in them???
To further complicate matters, the serial number is unreadable on the metal plate!

I don't recall ANY Ford CUT with a decompression device.

I'm not sure what you mean? What does cut with a decompression device mean? Do you think my tractor is a grey market tractor?

I am only guessing here, but I think "CUT" is short for Compact Utility Tractor. I think what he is sayiny he hasn't seen any Ford with the valve cover (head) like your picture that has some kind of compression relief built into it. Rick will clear that up for you;

Another guess by me (because I don't know) is your engine is non typical and you may have a 1200 off brand engine, 2 cyl, in a 1210 tractor body. That engine is probably made by the same manufacture for a different brand tractor or a special duty tractor designed for extreme service, like a cold climate of something.

I think your tractor is a 1210 as far as everything but the engine is concerned and parts for the 1210 would fit your repairs. But wait for more information from other posters because this is only my guess from viewing the hood picture.

Shibaura did and probably still make some tractor engines for Ford.
