Help! Ford 860 Choke Re-Install

I'm rebuilding my carb and putting it back together, and even though I took pics during process, I can't for the life of me figure out how the choke butterfly and choke shaft go back together in the bore....

The first pic was before I took it out... But even that doesn't look right now... (How can the shaft go ON TOP of the Butterfly when the butterfly is not Threaded?)

The other two pics show the shaft and both sides of the butterfly...

Questions:

Which side of butterfly faces Out? (The side with spring or the other?)
Does the shaft go in Front of the Butterfly or Behind it?
Does the shaft go Under the Plate right Below the Spring?

I've tried everything and am Stuck....

Figured it out.... Took a cat-nap and it must have refreshed the old brain and common sense...

The butterfly actually goes Through a slot in the shaft. (I sure don't remember pulling it out of that slot.) But looking at the picture again, I (finally) noticed that only Half of the shaft appears to be On Top of the butterfly in the first picture. I feel silly, but elated at the same time :laughing:

Maybe the Powermaster Gods are finally going to shine on me???
