Hello,
I was hoping someone might direct me to where to check the hydraulic level on my L2950GST tractor. The manual I have puts it near the foot deck, but for the life of me I don't see the gauge there?
Thanks in advance Larry in Clarksburg

I don't know your tractor, but the L2900GST has a Sight Glass on the rear, low, left side.
I would think yours will be there also.
Just to the left of the PTO...KennyV

It was the same place on my L2900 and it the same on my MX5100.

Maybe it's time to have my eyes checked, but I'm still not finding it? When you say, "rear, low, left side", is that near the 3 point hitch lifting arms, or somewhere else? I'm also having a difficult time finding a place in the rear of the tractor to attach my hydraulic winch w/o springing $270 for a little block Kubota sells. I thought I had found a third part block from Union Tractor in Maine, but can't find the place for that either. I was able to skid a fair amount of downed wood to heat with and a bit relieved as already got snow and had the stove burning a fair amount already. Kind of an adventure making a trail to the old logging trails on the back 80 as it's really wet in the woods with a couple stream crossings as well.
Thanks Larry

If you look at the PTO shaft, look to the left a couple inches and UP a couple inches, It is a clear plastic circle... May not be very clear, it might appear a bit cloudy...
Until you find the liquid level, they are hard to read... You may need to raise or lower the front of your tractor, park it with the front wheels in a low spot or the opposite... Once you find a liquid level you will know what it should look like. Since the Hydraulic oil is almost clear it is tough to tell if you are looking at too much fluid Or too little fluid... You can only really tell when the fluid level falls within that circle... KennyV

Thanks KennyV,
was still having the same problem in 2024.
It sure helps to know where to take the dirt off :)
