I Have a 1980 Ford 4600SU and the engine lopes a bit first few minutes after starting when cold. It's a diesel. Engine runs great afterwards and always cranks fast in cold weather. Just replaced fuel filter and both air filters.

Thanks

Most tractors with a mechanical injection pump lope until the governor gets the rpm's under control. Unless someone else has different experiences I wouldn't worry about it.

One of my other tractors does it a little too just not nearly as much. Unless someone says different think I will just not worry with it.
