I'm a long time reader of this form that finally got around to creating a profile.
My Name is Nate, and I've spend my whole life playing with tractors and other things with engines. I started driving the 68' Wheel Horse (hydro, 10hp) when I was about 7 and never looked back. I worked on a dairy farm in high school using IH tractors, so I'm bias to them. We has an H, M, 450, 560, 684,806,856,1586 and even an AC G. Today I lead the engineering team at ABI attachments, we make specialized attachments like horse arena drags (TR3) and property owner/landscaping equipment. We also make a zero turn self propelled grading machine, the ABI Force, that is really cool. (I'm bias since I designed it) So you could say I've got the perfect job.
Before I worked at ABI I was a design engineer for MTD products on the Cub Cadet Zero turn lineup. You can blame me for parts of the RZT, RZTS, and Z force S, along with the RZT-zero electric zero turn rider.
My only personal tractor at the moment is my Cub GT2100 with a 54" fab deck. It's actually a former test unit, so it's got over 2000 hours on it, but it still makes my grass short every week!
I look forward to chatting about projects with you fokes, I'm about to start a go cart for my kids!
