Hello, I am new here, on this forum to help my Dad get information for the tractor he is hoping to purchase. He knows how to use equipment all right-he has been using tractors and bulldozers and plows and such since about 1949 or so. It is the Internet that has him stumped!
He is looking at an Ingersoll 6018 to help him with the workshop he is building. I am all for it because since he is 84 I would prefer him to not be doing it with a shovel!

The 6018 is a two-wheel drive purpose built loader. It has an 18 HP air-cooled gas engine under the hood. It has a two-speed trans-axle that is hydraulically driven. The loader is capable of lifting 1000 LBS if the tractor is properly counter-weighted. The condition of the engine is the most important thing to check out because it is the most expensive item to replace or rebuild. Photos from all directions would be of help along with the serial number and the hours showing on the clock. Tell us the asking price.
