Hello everyone,
I have been visiting TBN for about a year now and finally decided to sign up. I have a small hobby farm in Cowichan Bay, BC.
Last year, I bought a small Ariens S14 garden tractor for $400 with a rototiller, mower deck and a front blade. It was in really good shape with just minor repairs needed. I added a johnny bucket but I outgrew that very quickly. Last week, I got a used Power-Trac PT1430 (w/ 11 attachments). It was a deal I just couldn't pass up! It is my first time on a "real" tractor. WOW. All I can say is I wished I had bought a tractor earlier. Now I know I will be able to get so much done without having to keep hiring someone for $$$$ and or killing my back.
There is so much to learn about farming, machinery, hydraulics, etc and I hope to learn from all the members here.
