Hello From the Great State of Maine

Just joined, have been visiting for years.
Learned a lot here, a good community.
Searching for a tractor, considering all the options because it sure is difficult to find a fair market value.

OT - good evening and welcome to TBN and this forum. My search for my Kubota M6040 took almost two years of looking, trying, smelling, sitting, wondering, driving the salespeople crazy - - finally bit the bullet and went with my best guess and my gut. Been a great tractor since I bought it new in 2009.

What also compounded my decision - the Kubota is my second tractor. My first was a brand new Ford 1710 in 1982. It lasted 27 years and was as good as new when traded in. I knew that my next tractor, my Kubota, would be my last tractor.

Welcome oldtoad, and Maine surely is a great state. The first part of buying a tractor is defining the mission. What does your land look like and what are your plans to improve it and maintain it. You will get enough snow in Maine so that is useful. I have my second Kubota now and only shopped for one other brand and that took 2 minutes. Again, welcome.
