Welcome to the site. I have some friends from Scotland (about 2 hours from Glasgow I think) that I made while working in Afghanistan. Plan to head that way within the next several years for a visit. The country looks beautiful.

Welcome from Texas! Scotland may be 10% the size of Texas but it is twice as beautiful country! On my bucket list for visiting, especially to see some Highland games!

Welcome Lionhound, my wife and I have been to Scotland several times. I have Scottish heritage on my mother's side, her father was a McGray. His first name was Clyde, named after the Clyde River. Enjoy the great info you get from the folks on this site.

Welcome, I'm from a clan on Isle of Sky, and BIL is from the clan of Tulloch, grandparents hailed from Glasgow! Wish I were there, it's definitely most beautiful country, and the Scotch is downright tasty!
