I've always payed to put up my round bales but I bought some well used equipment to learn how to put up some square bales. Just for the fun of it. Ha Ha. So far so good. I enjoy reading the posts to see how everyone else does things. Thanks

To the TBN forum JDNH. About how many round bales did you get each time? How many square bales do you get now?

Pictures of your equipment and operation would be very much appreciated.

Well I've baled different fields. I still have around 500 4x5 round bales put up each year. Just got the John Deere 224WS baler to put up a few squares for when I have a couple calves in the lot. As a rule you get 10 to 12 squares out of a average 4x5 round bale.
