I've always read a lot of threads here since I got my first tractor (JD 750) a couple years ago, finally created an account to join in since I feel like I finally know a bit of what I'm doing.
Bought the JD 750 from original owner who had it mostly barn kept since the 80s. (He swung by months after he sold it to visit and make sure it was ok. I think he missed it.) Tach reads about 2400 hrs but he says he had rebuilt the engine a couple hundred hours ago. I've had few problems, once I learned to bleed the fuel lines. Recently changed the trans/hydraulic fluid and gave it an oil change but otherwise it runs great. I don't use it a lot, but it's been real handy on our small farm. Moved to NC from Louisiana a couple years ago. Had a farm in LA for 5 years and not quite sure how we did it without a tractor. We raise sheep and goats, also got a couple mules and a bunch of poultry.
Looking for a FEL that doesn't cost an arm and a leg if anyone has a lead.
