Hello from Mike in Elba Alabama

I live and work in the Atlanta area, but come to life on a 20 acre pecan farm in Elba, Alabama. Born and raised in Detroit, spent 21 years around the world in the US Air Force, then to the Sheriff's Office in Cobb County Georgia. I'm using a Yanmar 1500 with a front loader, to reclaim the orchard from underbrush and non pecan trees. First time using a tractor and trying to grow things. I've already learned some tricks as a lurker, and finally signed up. Since the Yanmar Is broke, I'll be around often.

My friends up there tell me that they are enjoying the little bit of snow they've had this year. The cold is why I moved south, otherwise a beautiful state.
