Hello from Louisiana

I am a project superintendent for a heavy/highway contractor in Southeast Louisiana, and I am looking for some advice on tractors and rototillers.

We generally use a machine called a "stabilizer" to till powdered cement into soil, and a Rome disk to process wet clay/sandy soil to prepare the roadbed. It is not cost effective to use this stabilizer to just till soil, unless one is available and just sitting in the yard, not being used for soil cement work.

I am researching 100-125 hp tractors and a heavy duty rototiller to use in the soil preparation.


Any and all advice, comments, suggestions welcomed.

I prefer an enclosed cab with heat/air, 4x4 tractor, no front end loader.


I need an auxiliary hyd. manifold on the back to be able to use my disk, also.



The rototiller would be a 3 point setup.
