Hello from Big Timber Montana!

We are a small 41 acre farm just outside of Big Timber, Montana.

We run the Mahindra Max 26 XL HST.

Right now we are moving snow every day.

We just acquired this old horse property late last summer. We have tilled test plots all over. This, our first year will be forage crops to build some nitrogen in the soil. We are also starting with an acre of root vegetables.

Sounds like you have a good plan and a lot of work.

I guess that there was a barn on the property? What condition and size is it?

We do have a barn. It is a pole barn, the poles all appear to be very large old power poles. It is about 25. by 40 and is in decent shape. It has two horse stalls and has had 2/3 of the length done in concrete. Great for tractor parking!

We too have a horse barn that is 36 x 100 with 8 stalls on one end and an exercise area at the other. Four of the stalls had a loft over them and so we took down the other 4 stalls to make a large work area and use the open area to park the tractor and implements and store large items.
