I have a bypass shear that I use on a daily basis. What I would like to know is if anybody has tried sharpening the bottom flat blade of this tool? I was planning on getting the dremel garden tool sharpening attachment to try and sharpen the bottom blade. Has anybody out there tried this idea or does anybody have any other suggestions? If you have tried sharpening it, how does it work, does the shear still perform well? The bottom flat blade of this shear is 3/16" so any ideas of hand filling this to an edge probably isnt going to work. Any answers will be much appreciated. Thank you.
