I'm about a half hour from Hattiesburg, in Jones county. I'm taking care of around 37 acres but only own part of it at the moment. The Massey is an 80's era 265. It's a "family" tractor and there are some "issues" there so I'm kinda in the market right now. I also have some access to a little JD hydro. I think it's a 3520E if I remember correctly. I'm looking to buy something used or maybe finance a new one. Most of the land was recently clear cut, so I have a lot of work to do.

Not that anyone cares, but I like to get the facts straight. The Massey is a 253 model. I don't know why I was thinking 265. Anyway, I'm going to try to extricate it from the current awkward family situation and make it mine. If that doesn't work, I'll be looking to buy an older tractor in the very near future.

As long as there usually aint any crooks in the family or personal attachments to the tractor you should be fine. But good luck with that
