Hello guys...

I've been mostly lurking and doing a lot of reading on all the good info, opinions and experiences you guys have provided... Thanks

I've been thinking about getting a Kubota in the 30-34 hp range and was (so far) leaning towards the 3200 or 3400. (I will definately test the 3-point with weight to see how smooth it raises, or doesn't)

My question: How tall is the tractor when the foldable Rops is in the Down Position? (Want to make sure it will fit in my shed)

Also, are there any other models (or brands) that you'd recommend over these two.

Here's what I'd be using it for: (About 5 acres of land)

Occasional plowing with a 2-bottom-14, 3-pt 6' disk, mowing with a 5' BH and using the Fel for moving mulch around. Occasional 6' box blade and 6' grader blade. Might invest in a reverse tiller in the future... (And would Ag tires be best for my use? - slight hill in one field, flat in the other, won't be using in wet condiditons, other than to blade occasional snow off the 300' driveway)

Thanks!

All ROPS are the same height: 1" taller than your garage door opening.
Kubota has specs online. Not sure I'd believe it, probably a few inch difference just on tire type. I'd go to dealer and measure what you're going to buy.

My L3200 fits through a standard 7' rollup door with about 6" to spare. I can drive it in without hitting my noggin.

I'll measure mine tonight. I have Ags, it'll "almost" fit under a 7 foot roll up door.. almost.

I'd say it'll be a good fit for what you've listed that you want to do with it. We have a 12-2 plow and an 8 foot single disc that it handles fairly well, although if the disc were biting all the way to the axle I don't think the 3400 would pull it. The plow's no problem at all. 5 foot bush hog is a good match too.

If you can live with the 3-point being jumpy, the economy L's are a lot of bang for the buck. We're happy with ours aside from the 3-point saga.

Sounds like a good fit for your needs. Not sure on ROPs hight, have to fold mine down to get in the shed, but I love my L3800DT. 3 pt isn't jerky enough to be a problem for me. Lot of tractor for the $!

Ditto. When i built my barn I built the height so that I could fit with the rops up.. Exactly 7'6" in height.
