Heavy duty skid steer brush cutter

Trying to find out a good direct drive hydraulic motor for a heavy duty brush cutter. I have already built one using motor connected to gearbox. Naturally, no one wants to share this info. I have a bush hog 672 that Id like to put a direct drive motor on. Anyone got some ideas?

yes that looks right. just dont know what specs to look for. need high speed and high torque for brush and 20-30 gpm flow

I would locate a Sauer-Danfoss dealer and tell them what you're looking for. Rexroth may be another supplier to check out.

You consider 800rpm high speed?

800rpm might be ok. Bout same as a 540 PTO with 1:1.4 gearbox on bush hog
