A friend had benches made in her horse barn that have lids for storage. The lids are heavy and she's been looking for heavy duty lid supports so people don't get their fingers crushed. Has anyone done something similar or can you recommend an online source? Seems like the piston type of supports for truck hoods and car back doors would work well. Not sure if any are made for lid supports.
