Tractor
Kubota L48
I have an L48 with an 84 inch 4 in one bucket. It is very heavy! Once filled with dirt the tractor seems unstable. And yes the tires are filled with ballast. I bought a 72 plain bucket and the unstability went away. So, should I sell the 4 in one or is there just some jobs that you need one of these? I can use it on level ground, but most of my property is not level.

You need additional ballast if you are going to keep that bucket.Weight box ect.Was machine equipped with a back-hoe?With the hoe on that bucket probably worked fine.If you have a lot of hills and have another bucket sell the 4-1.

Hang about four suitcase weights on the backhoe bucket and give it a try, I think you will notice a world of difference. If you don't have suitcase weights put free weights or concrete blocks in the bucket. If you need the backhoe simply dump the weights. This way you can keep the 4in1.

IMHO a 7' bucket is too wide for your tractor. Review what your uses are and get something that is more appropriate. Did the tractor come with that bucket?
