Heated Up the 'lectric Fence Today
I have corn nearly knee-high, blackberries loaded, and peas about to break through the crust in the garden. I knew that as soon as those peas come through, the deer will start cropping them. I got the fence back up and running today. It did a heck of a job last year. Two strands, about one foot and five feet off the ground, then one strand of tape about three feet high and three feet outside the first two strands. All hot. Materials from TS. Has a good spark.
The man who is helping me had to go to the woods to attend some business. He said he jumped three deer about fifty yards from the garden. I guess they were reading the menu.
