I saw a few post where this was discussed. I was mowing and the 135 didn't have the power I am used too. I looked at the sediment bowl and the fuel was boiling.. I have to figure some sort of heat shield to help with this problem. Just asking for any suggestions. Also, is this a dangerous situation? Don't want to be in another explosion.

It looks like the metal parts are there, but still getting very hot. I was thinking of getting heat shield material from a auto parts store. Maybe that will help.

So I recently bout the reflective adhesive backed heat shield at a local auto store and stuck it under the gas tank because i was having the same problem. I also bought some 1" header exhaust wrap and wrapped the manifold. I used SS safety wire to secure it. Works great. No more boiling gas
