... You can also route any Bluetooth device to them, TV, etc, which can be handy. ...
Have you found a way to pair Bluetooth hearing aids to a Windows PC?

I'm almost deaf in right ear (concussion & guns), but it's great! I do most driving so my wife is on my right side...I just smile & nod as she yaks away.
The worst thing is 40+ years of tinnitus.

No, sorry, I use to be a Mac guy, but haven’t had a computer for several years; just an iPhone and iPad. Never had a Windows device.

I've never tried it with mine, I always assumed bluetooth would connect to anything. It won't connect to your PC?

Absolutely. I use mine for WebEx meetings every day. If it weren't for being able to do that I couldn't participate and honestly, that option has kept me working and not being forced to retire.

I would not want to go back to living without it. Only way I can hear the phone while in the car, which I am a lot. I am able to turn down the road noise and turn up the audio volume and equalizer. Phone is the speaker, so just keep it in my shirt pocket and have hands free for driving or working on things. Can listen to a how to video while actually doing the work. Podcast are something else new for an old man, but makes trips seem shorter. Shout out to "How Stuff Works" podcast, as they have kept me busy for many hours. Also, have 30 years worth of music to catch up with. Now I can even understand the words and don't have to just make stuff up. Lol!

I recently started listening to podcasts and ended up getting addicted to them :). I tried listening to them while driving but find I start not paying enough attention to the driving so I gave up that part of them as a bad habit.

I can "pair", but can't seem to get the sound from content playing on Microsoft Edge. I did some research and apparently this issue is not unheard of.

For the last two/three months I've had trouble hearing speech on the TV. Especially where there is loud background. Thought it was time for some form of hearing aide.

My son is an electrical/computer engineer. He came out and had the same problems that I did - hearing the TV.

So.......seems in my fumbling around with the TV menus ( audio setup ) - I made a change I should not have made. Now all is well.

However - I did some checking around the internet for hearing aides. AND WOW - what a variable price range. From around $300 to over $5000 for a pair. A guy might learn to read lips when faced with that higher cost.

Has anyone tried any of the 'over the counter' hearing aids? About a year ago they became available and seem to be at a much lower price than conventional hearing aids from a hearing specialist.

I have tinnitus (ringing in my ears) and it seems to be getting harder to hear people talking to me. I would much prefer to spend $1000 on OTC hearing aids instead of $5000 from a hearing specialist.
