Head bolts...

I need to install a new head gasket on my YM2500. Is it necessary to install new head bolts at the same time or can I reuse the old ones? Not just nice, but necessary?

For starters what does the service manual say?

Usually head bolts that are just torqued can be reused. Ones that are torque and turn need to be replaced. The torque and turn ones stretch.

Never mind I got my answer. Called Fredricks to ask about the price of new head bolts. When I was told there were no new ones available they also told me that new ones were not necessary. Sorry I don't have the service manual...only the users manual
