Havoline Synthetic 10-30 \"CF\"

I got 10 qts of Havoline Synthetic 10-30 on sale at Advance Auto, it is rated "CF" -- do you think this is ok for my Kioti ck30 or should I save it for the cars?

What oil and rating does your kioti call for, in your temp range?

There are several here that use Mobil One, which is also, a CF rated oil. It is a lightweight diesel oil. I have used it in a compact tractor with good results. If you want a readily available CH-4 heavy-duty diesel oil get Mobil One Truck and SUV. Now having said all of that, I don’t think that there would be anything wrong with using Havoline if it has a CF rating.
I didn’t know that it did. Learn something new everyday.

Thanks for the info.

The Kioti manual specifies Shell 10-30 diesel oil, a case of whom I have purchased. Just wondering if I have something better, it being full synthetic, whatever that is these days.

I'm suprised that your manual didn't give you a C* spec with that 10w30 oil.. In any case.. i agree with Jerry.. etc.
