Having trouble uploading Photos.

When I attempt to upload photos I receive a message to log in.Then, I log in message says invalid log in.
Go to main page, log in no problem.Go back to photos page, log in, says invalid.
Then message to delete cookies , still nothing

in that case, try the photobucket thing and it will work, sometimes I have to log in to photo page again, it's like it forgets me LOL

Many here get that. This is another thread of that nature, all the while being ignored. No one in the Administration has yet to take the time to fix this for some, myself included. PMs don't phase them. Open requests as such? Not a response. Reason unknown, however since this is a free site to use, it's their call.

Go figure.

They've also explained;

1. They know it's a problem.
2. It's on their list
3. It only effects some people
4. They will get to it
5. They are working on higher priority tasks right now.

And, as this thread indicates, there are alternatives. So, why do some people complain about it?

I admit I am not, the sharpest tool in the shed when it come to the computer.
However, given a little time, I usually figure things out.
I went to photo bucket, and, can still not, upload photos.
By the way, I am not complaining just doing what you, and every one else on this site is doing TRYING TO LEARN.

It's kind people like you that make this a NICE place to visit.
However, there are some, that think that being sarcastic is more productive, than being kind and helpful.

Exactly what part of crbr's post was kind and helpful?

The owners of this site have acknowledged this is a problem and they are working on it. They are not, and have not, ignoring it as crbr accused.

I did not accuse you of complaining about anything. My response was to crbr, not you, which is why I quoted him. I apologize you thought I was accusing you. I signed my post the same way crbr did, i.e., "Go Figure".

It's one thing for new people to ask about problems, but crbr has already complained about it in this thread , the same thread which included an explanation from one of the site admins. So for crbr to accuse them of ignoring this issue is simply inappropriate and unfair.

I had the same problem tensaw, and no response from the forum's administrators; so I use Google's Picasa online photo albums. It's simple and it works.

I tried Photobucket, and that would be my next choice; but they have to many bells & whistles for my taste.

I also tried Shutterfly and that one just plain sucked.

What do you mean by sending them. There are a couple of ways of sharing photos from PhotoBucket :

You can create an album there and just give a link to it so people can browse through the photos you have.
You use 'URL Link' for this.

Once you have the photos uploaded you can use IMG tags to put the photo in the post. Just copy the link under the photo you want to put in the post. You want the code in the bottom box, 'IMG code' Just paste this into the mesage where you want the photo.

I think the best one, and the one I find the best when looking at other peoples photos are the clickable thumbnails.
To use these, click in the little radio box under the photo you want to insert.
Then go down to the bottom of the page and click 'Generate HTML and IMG Code'
You then want to copy the one that says 'IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended'
Once pasted in the message you will get a small photo you can click on and when clicked it will open a bigger photo in a new window.
