have problem bleeding injector pump

I am having trouble bleeding my ford 3000

I did a engine rebuild just finished putting her together and tried to bleed the injector pump withh NO luck
has a CAV injector pump in it
before being pulled apart she ran ok no probs (rebuilt engeine because haf big end knock)
have bleed all the air out of the fuel filters and have allso bleed the air out of the injector pump (bleed piont on the side of the injector pump)
she wont pump fuel up to the injectors (nothing happens)

I lined up all the timming marks as says in manual (crank cam idler injector pump)
and set the injector pump to 0 on the mark as manual states
I am at a loss as what to do next

if Any body has any ideas would be good
otherwise I am out of ideas

Well I am not sure of your injector pump but, on my 1700, I had to remove the fuel line from the pump that feeds the cylinder. Then remove the fitting, spring and plunger where the fuel line connected. I turned over the engine by hand and at the right point fuel flowed freely. I re-attached all fuel lines and removed the glow plugs. With glow plugs removed I used the starter until I could see fuel mist coming out the glow plug port. Replaced glow plugs and she fired right up. This was on a engine rebuild.

pritty much tried much the same as you have stated
different pump to mine tho
and Mine has no glow pulgs anyway
it is a CAV pump
I even went to the extream of get the enigne run with arostart ran it like that for a min our 2 still no flow
but thanks for the advice

Not sure I'll be any help but on my MF I have to blow all the air from the filter and the pump, as you did but then I have to open the lines going from the pump to the injectors and bump the motor a few times. Reinstall the lines at the injector and vrooom. Best of luck.
