It is polyurea base with some synthetic thickeners. Not soap based. It is amazing that there is not more information on the web. I've been trying many different types of grease on my CTL and so far the only differences seem to be color and how well they behave in my grease gun. I'd like to hear from someone who has been using this grease for awhile.
