I have a BX23S. I want wider tires to reduce sinking in and ground compaction. Thinking it would require wider wheels and spacers. I am not really finding much in the way of options to do this.

I currently have 26x12-12 rears and 18x8.5x10 fronts. I would like to keep the same diameter but add say 2-3" spacers and get 4-6" wider tires.

Probably not a great idea... try spacers first...

Duals won’t fit through my gate. Spacers won’t change the ground pressure.

Duals won’t fit through my gate.

The duals might be of a smaller width tire, to equal the desired wider single in ground pressure. For example, 12 wide now, replace with two 8's or 9's.

That might be an option but would possibly require buying eight new wheels, eight tires, and four dual adapters.

And you will be messing with your 4WD turn ratios if you use that feature. Maybe it is as simple as moving from R4's to turfs? Spacers I do recommend if you are working on slopes.

I don’t think the tread pattern will make much a difference. I am not ripping up the grass, I am leaving slight indentions the width of the tires just from the weight of the machine and the small tires.
