5000 Ford, 2019 New Holland Boomer 55 Cab, 935GBH BH
I recently purchased a brand new New Holland Boomer 55 with cab which is the same tractor as a LS XR4155. My tractor was supposed to have dual remotes but it came with only 1. I found out that I could get a triple remote kit from LS for just a little more than NH's dual remote kit. NH does not offer a triple remote kit so I purchased one from the closest LS dealer. When it came it was the dual remote kit and it did have instructions and a parts list. I called the dealer and they reordered the triple remote kit and I took the dual kit back and swapped it for the triple. When I picked it up the parts man had already cut the box open. He said he opened it " to see if it was the correct one" When I get the box home I discover it has no installation instructions or parts list. I call back and they said there were no paperwork in the box so I said " you are telling me that instructions come with the dual remote kit but they don't come with the triple kit and they say yes" which I don't believe. I asked them to see if they could get me a copy of them and email them to me. Nothing but crickets for a week. I call the LS dealer back and remind them and he says I emailed them but they never answered back. He promises to try again and after 2 days he emails me a parts diagram and list but no installation instructions. In the meantime I hire a seasoned tractor mechanic who has installed many remote kits and he works all day and cannot get it installed and has to put the single back on. After he leaves I get the parts diagram from the dealer and the hyd. lines do not look like the ones on paper so at this point I don't even know if I have the correct parts. All I know for sure is that I have a 930.00 remote outlet kit with no installation instructions and a dealer that claims they don't exist. So what I'm asking has anyone had any expierence with doing this job or does anyone know if there is such a thing as the installation inst. for putting 3 rear remotes on a XR 4145, 4150 or XR 4155 with a cab? Please someone HELP. :confused2:

My LS XR4155HC came with three remotes in November 2017.

Do you have any documentation, any diagrams, pics, etc that may help us figure out how all these hydraulic lines go ?

No, there's nothing in the operators manual. Perhaps you might find a downloadable shop manual?

Or, find a friendly LS Dealer that might help you?

I have searched the internet for instructions and I dont think they are available on the net. If the dealer won't help me with 930.00 worth of parts I bought from them I doubt if another one would. I'll just keep hoping someone on her can help me.

Do you have a picture of the remotes? Are those elements you add on a stacked valve? Or a totally separate valve block? It can't be too hard to figure out. The linkages might look a bit more complicated but with some patience, everything will fall into place.

It is the positioning of the steel hydraulic lines that is the problem. Each one of the six lines has multiple bends & curves and my mechanic can get 4 of them in the right place it's the last 2 that wont connect up. Without a picture, installation instructions or anything to go by it's like trying to put a blank jigsaw puzzle together. My mechanic is a seasoned veteran. We don't even know if we have all the correct lines. As I stated before the dealer unsealed the box before I got there and denied that there were any instructions in the box but the 1st kit they sent me which was the wrong one and was a double remote kit, it had installation instructions in it so it would be logical that the factory would supply instructions with a more expensive and complex kit. The dealer says that there are no instructions available for this kit but I just don't believe it.

I checked and they have no documentation on the triple. Sorry about that...

I appreciate you taking the time checking on it but it just defies logic. Most people would need more help with installing the triple remote kit vs. the double but I guess it's their decision to make not to provide installation instructions and there ain't anything I can do about it. My mechanic is coming back out to try it again using the parts illustration page that I have. I bought a WR Long 3rd function kit and he says he can install all of it in one day. I guess we will see. Again, thanks for the effort you made to help.
