working on my pond project this morning, I was pushing dirt mounds around with my 2375 bh, all of a sudden I heard a LOAD SNAP and the bh was floppy, I took a look and almost pooped myself. I have a call into the dealer, still have 2 years left on my warranty, hopefully it will be covered, looks expensive, looks like my pond project is on hold till its fixed.
If I had to guess the lower arm pin came out and when I moved the bh left/right it snapped the hydro arm

ouch. That looks painful.

seems to me like it'd be a warranty issue

My dealer (Hoover Tractor) just called me back, they will pick the tractor up on Monday, fix it and have it back by Wednesday. :D

Love my dealer, but I dont know what to do with my weekend now that I cant dig my pond.
o well there is always next weekend, guess I will have to go and mow the grass

That's great service and they seemed to be right on top and prepared for it. Wonder how often they have seen that type of break on thise BH's?

Dealer service sounds great. When you say "pushing dirt mounds around with my 2375 bh" if you mean using the side swing and the side of the bucket to grade, that puts a lot of force on that pin and swing cylinder. We all do it to some degree but at least my manual does not recommend it.

Yes had a customer break one on a Kubota and I broke one on my JD 510 .

Wow! Even I couldn't manage to do that! :D Good thing you were not handling something delicate, or working with helpers!

Isn't there a grease fitting for that pin? It's dry as a bone. The wear is significant, and all of the other pins appear to be well greased. I would call that a design flaw, and would have a greasable pin installed.....

Tractor will be back home tomorrow am, I asked the service mgr what he did, He told me that they weld the cylinder end back together, At first I wasnt sure if I liked that, he went on telling me they rebuild hydro on a regular basis, when they get the chrome portion of the hydro cyl it does not come with the end on it, they weld the proper type of end on it for a specific application. He said kioti would send a hole new assemble bu he guaranteed me that the welded tip is at least as strong as factory.
Well looks like it will be back to my pond project this weekend

Seems to happen often and not to just 1 type{make or model}.
